As I suspected, the last three months have been very quiet. The recovery from the hysterectomy went very well and then there were the holidays to keep me busy. It has taken the month of January to get back into the swing of things at work. We have so many exciting projects planned for Knit Picks this next year!!
We are heading to India for a little business and a little pleasure. Bob is actually having to stay about a week longer than we expected to take care of some details. I'll head home on February 19th. I'm looking forward to the trip since I haven't been to India before. I bought extra memory cards for my camera so I will feel free to click away and see what images I can capture.
Since I posted in October, Bob and I have found out we are going to be grandparents! I instantly cast on my first Baby Surprise Jacket ala Elizabeth Zimmermann. I finished it in a week!
I also finished my Pi Shawl just in time to take to India to handle air conditioning and chilly nights up north.
My India knitting is another shawl. This one much more manageable. A rectangle with a simple repeat and a knit-on border. I do love lace for travel knitting. The yarn takes up so little room and it keeps my mind stimulated. I also packed yarn for a couple pairs of socks to work on when we are out to dinner with friends or I just want to chill for awhile.
I am so happy to be feeling well again! I have missed blogging so much.
